Happily Welcoming New Clients
in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Vermont
Therapy is a tool for life that allows us to learn and grow in ways that make us more comfortable interacting with others as well as with ourselves. Progress is not linear, however, and things often feel like they are getting worse before they get better. Talking about painful experiences can be difficult. If you keep working through these difficult things, however, they do get easier.
I can’t guarantee any outcome, but I do promise to help you through the process in whatever way I can to give you the best chance of a positive result.

Therapy Consultations
It is important to feel completely comfortable when working with a counselor. I offer consultations to give you the opportunity to see if my methods feel right to you. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to learn more about how I work before you schedule your first official appointment.
Your First Session
In your first session, we will talk a lot about your life so I can understand what shapes your perspective, and what experiences have impacted you. During this time (and in future visits), I encourage clients to ask as many questions as they need. This is your space in which to feel safe and heard, and I always want to be sure you do.

Cancellation Policy
We have a 48-hour weekday cancellation policy. For Monday appointments, please be sure to cancel by the Thursday before to avoid being charged.
Payments
While we are not in-network with any insurance plan, we can provide a medical receipt (with diagnosis, treatment code, provider information) for each session. You will then need to submit the receipts/information to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do not automatically give the medical receipts, so if you would like to use it, please ask for it in the session.
