AASECT
Supervisor-in-Training
As an AASECT Supervisor-in-Training, I offer individual supervision for therapists who want to deepen their work in sex therapy, intimacy, and relational healing.
This is a space for clinicians who are ready to move beyond surface-level interventions and into intentional, attuned, and ethically grounded clinical work

My Approach
To Supervision
If you are working toward your AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST) credential, supervision should feel like a place where you can breathe - and be challenged. My approach to sex therapy supervision is experiential and structured, with real room for exploration. Together we will use role play, body awareness exercises, and targeted psychoeducation to work through the blocks that show up when sexuality makes you uncomfortable in session - because that discomfort is where the growth is. I am passionate about helping clinicians build the confidence and clinical grounding to do shame-free, sex-positive work with every client who walks through their door. Online AASECT sex therapy supervision is available for clinicians across the country.
Who
I Work With

This supervision is a strong fit for:
- Therapists pursuing AASECT certification
- Clinicians wanting to confidently integrate sex therapy into their practice
- EFT therapists looking to deepen their work with sexual and relational concerns
- Therapists who feel stuck, avoidant, or unsure when sex comes into the room
You don’t need to have it all figured out—just a willingness to engage, reflect, and grow.
Why
Work With Me
I bring a specialized focus in:
- Sex therapy and relational dynamics
- Attachment-based work with couples
- Integrating education to reduce shame and increase client agency
My work is shaped by both advanced clinical training and a deep commitment to helping therapists feel more grounded, more confident, and more effective in the room.
As we deepen awareness of yourself and your clients, your work becomes more attuned, more intentional, and more impactful—creating space for clients to move out of shame and into connection.
Frequently Asked Questions About AASECT Sex Therapy Supervision
What is AASECT sex therapy supervision and why do I need it?
AASECT supervision is a required component of becoming a Certified Sex Therapist (CST). It is the clinical relationship where your competency as a sex therapist is developed, challenged, and demonstrated. You cannot count hours toward your AASECT certification without a signed supervision contract with an AASECT Certified Supervisor. Beyond the credential requirement, good supervision is where you do the real work - understanding your own reactions, building clinical confidence, and learning to sit with sexuality without flinching.
How many supervision hours do I need for AASECT certification?
AASECT requires a minimum of 50 hours of supervision for Sex Therapist Certification, with at least 25 of those hours being individual one-on-one supervision and a minimum of 20 hours completed with your primary supervisor. You must also be in supervision for at least 18 months. Alongside supervision, you will need to complete 300 hours of clinical work with clients presenting sexual concerns while under your supervision contract.
Can I complete AASECT supervision online?
Yes. AASECT supervision can be completed online, and I work with clinicians across the country virtually. Online supervision is just as effective as in-person - and gives you access to a supervisor whose approach and values align with yours, regardless of where you are located.
What will supervision with you actually look like?
My supervision style is experiential, structured, and exploratory. We will use role play, body awareness exercises, and psychoeducation to help you develop confidence working with sexual concerns in session. A big focus of our work together will be your own blocks and discomfort - because what gets activated in you as a clinician will shape what is possible for your client. Expect to be challenged in a space that is warm, shame-free, and sex-positive.
Do I need to already be working with clients who have sexual concerns?
Yes - supervised clinical hours require that you are actively working with clients presenting sexual concerns while under your supervision contract. If you are not yet seeing clients with these presentations, we can talk through how to build that caseload as part of our work together.
How do I know if you are the right supervisor for me?
If you are looking for a supervisor who is sex-positive, shame-free, and passionate about helping clinicians do this work with confidence and compassion - we are probably a good fit. I bring warmth and directness to supervision. I will not let you stay comfortable in your discomfort - but I will make sure you never feel alone in it. Reach out for a consultation and let's find out.
How do I get started?
Contact me to schedule a consultation. We will talk about where you are in the AASECT certification process, what you are looking for in supervision, and whether we are a good fit. From there we will set up a supervision contract and get started.
